Materials:
Rick Rack Size Medium
Shuttle
Thread #30 or Perle #8
Crochet hook #14 for joining to the rick rack
Instructions:
Prepare the rick rack, cutting the amount desire. Try to make "straight" the
ends and dab a little of fabric glue or white glue to the ends. This is going to
help to avoid the rick rack to unbraid and help with the joining of the tatting
in that area.
R: 8 ds, join to one of the bumps or the rick rack, 8 ds. CL. RW
*CH: 8 - 2 -- 2 - 8. RW.
R: 8 + (join to the same last bumb) 8. CL.
R: 8 + (to the next bump) 8. CL. RW*
Repeat from * up to the end of the rick rack. Finish the pattern at the end
with the 2nd ring.
CH: 8 - 2 -- 2 - 8. RW.
R: 8 + (to the end of the rick rack) 8. CL. Repeat until you have 5 rings at
the end of the rick rack. Finish with a ring.
R: 8 + (join to the next bump) 8. CL. RW.
Continue the pattern around.
